Heaven and Earth is not five separate books. Its volumes are five movements in one body, joined by a reading map and interfaces between volumes into a path that can be walked.

Choice is power. Life begins with daring to live, to leave, and to return what is not yours.
Responsibility · Earth
Choice is commitment. Responsibility keeps freedom from being only a momentary flame.
Love · Water
Choice does not exist. Some relationships are not chosen; we can only learn to see while inside them.
Posture · Metal
Refusal and standing. When the ring no longer only turns, a person begins to have a direction of their own.
Life · Wood
Growth. Memory can break and organs can be replaced, yet a shape may still be recognized again.
How to read
The EPUB follows the spine order of Freedom, Responsibility, Love, Posture, and Life. The first three form an inter-entering ring in the reading map. Posture and Life lie beyond the ring and can be reached only by following the story outward. For a first reading, begin with Freedom.
